Administrative Assistant III

Job Summary:

Provides advanced administrative support requiring a broad and comprehensive knowledge of Company policies, procedures and practices. Independently ensures office systems and divisional procedures, polices and practices are administered effectively. Interfaces with a variety of internal and external customers on a variety of issues which require tact and diplomacy. May provide functional guidance and training to other associates within the Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to questions and requests and researches information
  • Interfaces with a variety of internal and external individuals on issues which are complex and/or of a confidential nature
  • Involves appropriate associates from other departments or divisions to resolve issues
  • May provide functional guidance and training to other associates within Division
  • Provides diversified, secretarial and administrative support
  • Composes correspondence and memorandums
  • Schedules and maintains calendar, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements
  • Analyses operating practices and creates/revises systems and procedures as necessary
  • Organizes and maintains office filing system, record keeping systems, office layout and budgetary and personnel requirements
  • Compiles, summarizes and analyzes data
  • Plans and creates various routine and complex reports
  • Oversees and monitors administrative projects
  • Performs other duties as required or directed
  • Requirements:
  • 5 - 7+ years of administrative experience in a corporate setting, is required
  • Associate's degree in secretarial science or equivalent experience
  • Must possess superior organizational and administrative skills and the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent phone manner, solid written and verbal communication skills and be customer service oriented
  • Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Will also use existing department specific systems to perform work on a daily basis
  • Willingness to learn, take direction well and be a team player
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude are required
  • Will occasionally be required to work from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, based upon business requirements
