Our present and past CEO’s were all Buyers, so whether you are interested in Merchandise Planning and Allocation, Merchandise Buying, or Executive Management, our CORPORATE MERCHANDISE TRAINING PROGRAM will give you what you need for a successful career in corporate retail. It is a unique opportunity to learn about the world of Merchandising in a corporate setting where you will learn how to run the business from behind the scenes. The program starts with 12 weeks of training to prepare you to be an Allocation Analyst. You will strengthen your entrepreneurial, strategic, and problem solving skills while thinking creatively to drive your assigned business.

As your career continues, you will pursue a career in either Planning & Allocation or Buying. Buyers are empowered, through their intelligent risk-taking and entrepreneurism, to make the ultimate decision on merchandise for our stores. They analyze their business, travel regularly to domestic and international markets building relationships, source merchandise and negotiate the best deal to drive sales. Buyers are truly driving their business. As you further develop your skills, you will have a tremendous opportunity for growth into Executive Management.

TJX Executives provide leadership for a team of Buyers and develop strategic business and financial plans managing over $600 million annually. Executives maintain a market presence, balance inventory levels, and execute sales and profit objectives. They play a critical role in impacting the business every day.
